TEACHERS TRAINING WORKSHOP FROM JUNE 0 1 – 06, 2017.
A 5 day long In Service Teachers Training Workshop from Jun 1-6, in APS Udhampur ended today. The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guests, AWES director Col AK Sharma, SM and SO to Chairman, Col Jagdish Gadekar.
On Day 1, i.e 1st of June, Mr. Manish Sharma, a parental coach enlightened the teachers about child Psychology and Child Brain Development. The session was very informative and interesting. He talked about various types of learning styles and multiple intelligence exhibited by children and stated that only by accommodating these various abilities can instructors properly plan and conduct assignments and assess what students have learned.
On Day 2, Mrs Aparna Kapoor talked about the importance of a strong value system in today’s fast pacing world.
On the 3rd Day, Mrs Sonali Chatterjee shared some really valuable tips with the teachers for class Room management and effective teaching strategies, to fortify the bond with the students.
Day 4th, i.e. 5th of June, began with a session by Mrs Renu Bandral from APS Nagrota. She spoke on the “New Vistas in Education in Futuristic Society. Sailing ahead, Mr. Sunil George shed light on the Life Skills required to be a part of sustainable Society. At last, Mrs Santosh Vaid, the concluding speaker for day spoke on the need to equip students and to prepare them for their better tomorrow.
On the final day, i.e 6th of June, Mr. Manoj from APS Aknoor and Mr. Bittoo Sharma from APS Rakhmuthi emphasized the Multiple Roles of a Teacher in a student’s life. In the 2nd phase of the workshop, Miss Pragati Vogender from APS Dhar Road shed light on the Importance of Information and Communication Technology in 21st Century.
Dr Vikram Gulati was the last speaker of the day and he expounded ‘Employable skills for Teachers in 21st Century.’
The closing ceremony was marked by the precious words of the Chief Guest, AWES Director, Col AK Sharma, SM addressed to the teachers.
At last the Principal, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar expressed his gratitude towards all the speakers, teachers and organizers of the workshop.
